ZOOMe Website Relaunch

Website relaunch | Strategy, design & launch

Case study

The problem

ZOOMe is an infrastructure company powering electric mobility in Nigeria. Its offering combines battery swapping, car charging, electric-motorcycle access, financing and operational support.

The company’s earlier website reflected a smaller business. As ZOOMe expanded its service lines—including fast car charging—it needed to speak to a broader customer base and make its growing network easier to explore.

The existing Squarespace site contained useful material, but its content and navigation did not clearly connect each audience with relevant services and next steps. The setup also made it difficult to update content and reshape the site around the expanded offering.

The team asked me to help redesign and update the website.

My role

I led the work from website strategy through production launch. My responsibilities included audience priorities, information architecture, messaging, visual design, platform selection, stakeholder coordination and delivery.

I directed the redesign, defining the page structure, audience messaging, visual system and customer journeys. AI supported implementation, copy refinement and troubleshooting in Framer.

Designing for different audiences

The website needed to explain one company while serving several different needs. I built the structure around a shared infrastructure story, then tailored the benefits and actions to each audience.

For riders in Nigeria, that meant practical language about petrol costs, motorcycle access, financing, battery swapping and staying on the road. Fleet operators needed to understand energy access and operational support. EV drivers needed clear information about car charging and station locations. Potential partners needed to understand the wider infrastructure offering and how to start a conversation.

The homepage introduced the company and provided clear entry points. Solutions brought the services together, while a dedicated Riders page connected motorcycle access and financing with swapping, station discovery, rider stories and WhatsApp inquiries.

This gave the site audience-specific depth while keeping the overall company story balanced.

Bringing the brand to life

I used ZOOMe’s orange and electric blue deliberately across the redesign. Orange drew attention to key actions, while blue and lighter supporting backgrounds helped distinguish content and reinforce the brand.

White space and neutral areas balanced the stronger colors. Typography, spacing and consistent components created hierarchy so visitors could scan the pages and understand the next step.

Real photographs of riders, motorcycles, charging and swapping infrastructure grounded the experience in ZOOMe’s operations. Matching rider photographs to their testimonials gave the customer stories a clearer connection to the people behind them.

The design carried that visual language across desktop, tablet and phone.

The brand palette, content hierarchy and customer journeys carry through to the mobile experience.

Making station discovery easier

Moving to Framer provided greater flexibility in page structure, responsive design and content management. Reusable components supported consistency, while CMS-backed records gave station information a structured home.

The previous website presented battery-swap locations through an embedded map. I expanded this into a dedicated station-discovery experience, adding:

The embedded map provides geographic context alongside the searchable, filterable station listings.

The result

ZOOMe now has a live website that reflects its broader business and provides distinct paths for its customer groups. Visitors can explore services relevant to them, locate stations and reach the team through appropriate inquiry routes.

The delivered work combines audience strategy, brand-led design, structured station content and production implementation in one coherent experience.

The site is live, with verified inquiry routing and analytics configured for ongoing measurement.
