USER EXPERIENCE REDESIGN
Updating a pre existing site to make it more modern and to improve UX
BACKGROUND
Seniorhousingnet.com is an online marketplace that helps seniors and their caregivers find communities that are tailored to their housing and medical needs. The business had existed for over 20 years and I was brought on as the first Product Manager to help grow the business by giving the site a brand refresh, explore new business models and introduce innovative features. The first thing we did was a website redesign that no only improved the interface but also the user experience.
MY ROLE
Worked collaboratively with an internationally distributed team of five - 4 engineers and designer - and implemented the Lean-Agile framework where the team had daily time-boxed stand-up meetings, 2 week sprints, grooming, and retrospectives.
Conducted UX research by gathering feedback from users and analyzed website data collected from Adobe Analytics to understand how users were currently using the website and competitor sites.
Set OKR’s with team for the products and translated them to theme based roadmaps.
Researched and selected additional tools to track KPI and created dashboard to display them
